Crime-thriller Dark Winds stars Zahn McClarnon as Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn from the Tribal Police and Kiowa Gordon as new deputy Jim Chee. The series is based on the Tony Hillerman Leaphorn and Chee Book series and is set in 1971 at a remote outpost by Monument Valley in the Navajo Nation.
