Adult Swim’s teaser trailer showed Beth and Summer talking about what might happen, giving fans a little glimpse of the new season. Will Gearhead return? Will Morty date Jessica? Both Rick and Morty are usually voiced by co-creator Justin Roiland. However, Adult Swim cut ties with Roiland in January as the actor awaited trial on domestic violence charges from 2020. The charges were dismissed, but other allegations had already emerged about Roiland’s troubling behavior at work.
