Outstanding reality-competition program The Amazing Race is back once again with a 37th season. The global race to win a million dollars begins March 5, 2025, with 14 teams in the running. If you can’t wait to see how this season’s contest progresses, this guide shares how and where to watch The Amazing Race season 37, as well as previous seasons.
Just like fellow reality TV show Survivor, The Amazing Race is a CBS series, meaning streaming options are mostly limited to the U.S. Don’t fret, though.
A virtual private network (VPN) will help you bypass any geoblocks you face, and if you’re in a rush, we recommend using NordVPN. It’s the best VPN you can get; try it for yourself with the 30-day money-back guarantee.

Where to Watch The Amazing Race
The Amazing Race is a CBS show, meaning the CBS channel is its home. Those with cable or satellite subscriptions can easily tune in to the CBS channel when it airs. If you want to watch The Amazing Race online, you’ll need Paramount Plus — originally called CBS All Access — or a live TV streaming platform that carries the CBS channel.
Those options are for the U.S. only, but you can hop on a U.S. VPN server to access the show if needed. Doing so will make you look like you’re in the U.S. and will open the doors to multiple streaming options.
What Streaming Service Has The Amazing Race?
The main streaming service for The Amazing Race is Paramount Plus. This is because The Amazing Race season 37 premieres March 25, 2025, on CBS, and Paramount Plus is CBS’s own streaming platform. You can subscribe to a live TV streaming platform, such as YouTube TV or Hulu + Live TV.

Unless you want the extra channels, though, a cheaper way would be to sign up for Paramount Plus. Season 37 will also stream there, since Paramount+ is CBS’s own streaming platform.
Paramount+ is available in countries outside the U.S. too, but the new season of The Amazing Race won’t be found there, at least just yet. The content available differs in each country, so although we also found all 34 previous seasons on Paramount Plus in the U.S., only two seasons are on the service in Australia, and we didn’t see any in the U.K. or Canada.
Various seasons are available on services in other countries too, but if you want the full package, you’ll need Paramount Plus’ U.S. library. If you’re not in the country, you can use a VPN to get access. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a U.S. payment method to sign up (we mention a workaround in our how-to further down).
Here are all the popular services where we found The Amazing Race:
Platform: | Seasons | Country | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Paramount+ | 34 seasons | 🇺🇸 U.S. | N/A |
TVNZ+ | seasons: 32, 33, 34 | 🇳🇿 New Zealand | N/A |
CBS website | 34 seasons | 🇺🇸 U.S. | Requires TV provider login |
Hulu | seasons: 1, 2, 5, 7, 22-27, 30-33 | 🇺🇸 U.S. | N/A |
Netflix | seasons: 5, 7, | 🇺🇸 U.S. | N/A |
Pluto TV | seasons 24, 25 | 🇺🇸 U.S. | Free with ads |
Episodes and seasons are also available for rent or purchase on Vudu, Google Play, Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.
Is The Amazing Race on Netflix?
Yes, you can watch The Amazing Race on Netflix in the U.S. However, there are only two seasons available (seasons five and seven). That’s not many, considering there are a total of 34 to date. Still, if you’ve never watched the show and have a Netflix account, it’s a perfect way for you to see if you like the show before splashing out on another service.

More seasons could become available, but it’s unlikely. However, you can check Netflix every now and then to see if it’s available, and that includes checking Netflix in other countries — in case you didn’t know, Netflix content varies by region.
How to Unblock Netflix US & Other Libraries
To unblock a different Netflix region, you need a VPN. Find a server in the region that you want to check and connect to it. Then, log in to your Netflix account, and you should see that region’s content library. You can do this as many times as you’d like and with any of the countries where Netflix is available, so long as the VPN has a server there.
How to Watch The Amazing Race Online for Free With a VPN
To watch The Amazing Race for free, you can sign up for a Paramount Plus free trial. In this section, we’ll show you how to do that outside of the U.S. by using a VPN. We’ve used NordVPN as our example. Let’s get into it.
Keep in mind that a Paramount Plus trial only lasts for seven days, which means you’ll only be able to watch the first episode for free. To watch the entire season, you can wait until it concludes, and then stream all episodes using the free trial.
- Subscribe to NordVPN
Subscribe to NordVPN by going to the website and choosing a plan. The two-year plan works out cheapest in the long run, and there’s a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans.
- Install the VPN App
Download and install NordVPN’s app onto your device, and then open the app to log in.
- Connect to a US Server
Open the server list and use the search bar or browse through the list to find a U.S. server. Once you’ve found one, click on it to connect.
- Sign Up for the Paramount Plus Free Trial

- Start Watching The Amazing Race
Search for The Amazing Race and start streaming it on Paramount Plus.
The Best VPNs for Streaming The Amazing Race
To watch The Amazing Race online, you need a VPN that has fast speeds and can unblock Paramount Plus or a streaming service with the CBS channel. Our recommendations below have exactly what you need and more.
1. NordVPN— Best VPN for Streaming The Amazing Race

Very Fast

Very Fast

Very Fast
NordVPN is our top choice for streaming The Amazing Race. It has plenty of servers in the U.S., has some of the fastest average speeds (see our VPN speed comparison) and can easily access streaming platforms. Its app is easy to use and includes a interactive server map, which is nice on desktop but can be a little hard to use on smaller screens.
NordVPN also has great security features and an included ad blocker, allowing you to skip annoying ads on Paramount+. It’s also an affordable option, so long as you don’t mind signing up for two years. There’s a 30-day money-back guarantee you can take advantage of, though. Read our NordVPN review to find out more.
2. Surfshark— Cheapest VPN for Streaming The Amazing Race

Very Fast

Very Fast

Very Fast
Surfshark is an excellent budget alternative for watching The Amazing Race. It offers some of the fastest speeds (nearly on par with NordVPN), has plenty of U.S. servers, blocks ads and unblocks Paramount Plus. It only loses points for not allowing torrenting on all servers and locking some of its security features behind higher-priced plans.
Still, Surfshark is a true bargain, costing a mere $2.19 per month with a two-year commitment. Like NordVPN, it also offers a one-month refund guarantee, so you can try it our risk-free. Read our full Sufrshark review for more.

3. ExpressVPN— Best Easy-to-Use VPN for The Amazing Race

Very Fast

Very Fast

Very Fast
ExpressVPN is a premium VPN with some impressive specs. It is very fast (though not as fast as NordVPN and Surfshark), unblocks pretty much anything you throw at it, blocks ads and malware, and even offers a password manager at no additional cost. Plus, it’s extremely easy to use, with most important actions just a click away.
Unfortunately, ExpressVPN is appropriately priced for such a premium experience. It costs $4.99 per month on a two-year subscription — significantly higher than Surfshark. You at least get the same one-month money-back guarantee to fall back on in case you find ExpressVPN doesn’t fit your needs. Read our ExpressVPN review for more.
Best Free VPN for The Amazing Race: PrivadoVPN

PrivadoVPN is our top pick for The Amazing Race as far as free VPNs go. It’s decently fast, can unblock most streaming services, and offers free U.S. VPN servers. However, you only get 10GB of data per month, which is less than ideal, and if you want to connect to other countries, you’re limited to a choice of just 12 locations worldwide.
If you go for a paid PrivadoVPN plan, you get more server locations, unlimited data and bandwitdh, as well as access to Control Tower — an ad and malware blocker that can also limit access to social media and adult sites. This package goes for $1.11 per month on a two-year subscription, and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Read our full PrivadoVPN review for more.
