Key Takeaways: Watch Heels Online

  • Heels season two starts on July 28 on Starz in the U.S. You can watch it directly on the Starz platform or with a Starz add-on on services like Prime Video, Sling TV and Hulu.
  • Outside of the U.S., you can watch it on Stan in Australia and Crave with a Starz add-on in Canada.
  • If you’re outside of those countries, you can use a VPN to get access. We recommend using ExpressVPN, with NordVPN being a close second.

The Spade brothers are back again with more sibling rivalry and drama in season two of Heels. Whether you’re new to the TV series or you’ve been waiting for season two since it was announced in late 2021, this guide will show you how and where to watch Heels online from anywhere.

The Heels TV series follows the Duffy Wrestling family. The show revolves around the wrestling business’ struggle and the rivalry between two brothers inside and outside of the ring.

This guide provides details on where you can stream Heels online, but if you’re not located in a country where the show is available, you won’t be able to access it due to geoblocking. That’s where one of the best VPNs, like ExpressVPN, comes in. It’ll help you disguise your true location and access the content you want. Read on to learn more about geoblocking and how to bypass it.

Where to Watch Heels

The Heels TV series is available on a couple of streaming services, but those services are restricted to particular countries. You won’t be able to access the show unless you’re located in one of those countries. This is due to geoblocking, which restricts access based on your geographical location.

The technology is used by websites and streaming platforms to ensure they keep in line with copyright laws and distribution rights, which determine where they are allowed to stream the content.

For instance, Amazon Prime Video might hold the right to stream a particular movie in the U.S., but Netflix might hold the right to stream the same movie in the U.K. Both services are expected to stop access for viewers in countries where they don’t hold the right to stream it — therefore, geoblocking is used.

Streaming services determine your location by your IP address. With the help of a virtual private network (VPN), you can hide your true IP address with one from a country that has content, or an entire service, that you want to access. This fools the streaming service, allowing you to access the content as if you were really there.

Which Streaming Services Have Heels?

The first episode of Heels season two premieres on Friday, July 28 on Starz, with future episodes being released weekly. However, Starz is only available in the U.S. That means you’ll need to use a VPN if you’re not in the country, but you’ll also need a U.S. payment method (there’s a way around this, though, which we’ll show you later).

Season two of Heels starts on July 28 on Starz, with new episodes released weekly.

While Starz is available as a standalone service, it’s also available as an add-on with other U.S. streaming services. That includes fuboTV, Hulu, Sling TV, DirecTV Stream, Apple TV, The Roku Channel and Amazon Prime Video. You can also add Starz onto Canadian streaming service Crave.

Season two of the Heels TV series will also premiere on Stan in Australia. Season one is available to stream there too, and the service offers a 30-day free trial.

You can also watch Heels season two on Stan in Australia.

If you have an Amazon Prime Video subscription, season one is available to stream in the U.S. However, we’re not sure when season two will arrive there without needing the Starz add-on. You can also rent season one on services like Google Play, Prime and Vudu.

Is Heels on Netflix?

Heels is not available on Netflix, at least for the time being. We try to keep these details up to date, so if Netflix ever adds Heels to one or more of its content libraries, we’ll update this section accordingly. You can also check to see if Heels is on Netflix yourself, and not only in your local library.

Netflix is available in 190 countries, and not all of those countries have access to the same content. Like we mentioned earlier, Netflix has to implement geoblocking to ensure each region only has access to the content it’s allowed to show there.

How to Access Other Netflix Libraries

By connecting to a VPN, you can bypass Netflix’s geoblocking measures. However, Netflix is clever at spotting VPN usage, so you need a VPN that’s good enough to go undetected (check out our best VPN for Netflix guide).

Once you have one, all you need to do is connect to a server in another country. For example, if you want to access the Korean Netflix library from the U.S., just connect to a South Korean server and log in to your Netflix account. You can then browse the Netflix Korea library, but if it doesn’t work, switch to another server and try again.

How to Watch Heels for Free

Although Heels isn’t available on any free streaming services, there are a few ways you can watch the TV series for free.

Starz itself doesn’t offer a free trial, but there’s often a free trial available with it as an add-on. For instance, Hulu offers a 30-day trial for itself and a week’s trial of the Starz add-on.

hulu starz offer
You can sign up for a 30-day trial of Hulu and then get a one-week trial of the Starz add-on.

However, a one-week trial won’t allow you to watch the entire second season, since episodes will be released weekly. If you don’t mind waiting, you can delay getting the free trial until the season has concluded and then have a binge-watching session to get through the whole show (including season one if you need to). You can also get a 30-day free trial of Stan in Australia.

If you need a VPN to gain access, you can pair the free trial with a VPN’s refund period to get your money back and basically watch the show for free.

How to Watch Heels With a VPN

If you’re not in any of the countries where Heels season two is showing, or you want to access a specific service, you can follow these steps to learn how to bypass blocks with a VPN.

In this example, we’ll show you how to access Starz via Hulu with ExpressVPN. This method will allow you to get a free trial with both services. You can watch both seasons here, but if you’d prefer to watch Heels elsewhere, just switch the steps where needed.

  1. Sign Up for A VPN

Sign up for a top VPN like ExpressVPN. All of ExpressVPN’s plans are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can test it risk-free.

The Best VPNs for Watching Heels

You could sign up with any VPN service you find on the app store, but it’s anyone’s guess whether it’ll actually work. To stream Heels successfully, you need a VPN that can bypass geoblocks easily and provide a good quality stream. Both of the options below have exactly what you need — let’s find out more about them.

1. ExpressVPN

expressvpn app us
ExpressVPN can access any streaming service and also has fast speeds.

Pros:

  • Tons of international servers
  • Fast streaming speeds
  • Unlocks all streaming apps

Cons:

  • Expensive plans

ExpressVPN is our top pick for streaming, and for good reason. It has thousands of servers all around the world and very fast speeds. Pair that with the ability to unblock pretty much any streaming service, and you’re left with a VPN that helps you access a ton of shows and movies from different countries, with a top-quality stream.

The downside is that ExpressVPN is expensive. That said, you’ll have the best service at your fingertips, and you can save a bit of money by locking in for a year. We know that might not sound ideal, but on the off-chance you change your mind, you are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Read our full ExpressVPN review for more details.

2. NordVPN

hulu nordvpn us
NordVPN has the fastest speeds and thousands of servers available.

Pros:

  • Long-term affordability
  • Thousands of servers
  • Fastest average speeds

Cons:

  • Mobile map could be better

If you need something that’s a bit kinder to your wallet, NordVPN is a good option. It offers a similar service to ExpressVPN in terms of unblocking ability, security and server count (although it doesn’t cover as many countries), and it even has faster speeds

NordVPN also provides an easy-to-use map interface that allows the user to connect to a server by clicking the location on the map. However, it’s a bit fiddly to use on smaller screens, so only really works well on desktop.

Other than that, though, NordVPN is a great choice that offers a more affordable price with its two-year deal. While that does mean you’ll need to cough up the two years in one go, the 30-day money-back guarantee means you can get a full refund if you change your mind. Take a look at our NordVPN review for more.

Cast, Characters & Plot: Heels

Heels was created by Michael Waldron, and it’s set in the small town of Duffy, Georgia. Two brothers, Jack and Ace Spade, attempt to keep alive the family-owned wrestling organization that they inherited from their father, Duffy Wrestling League. However, their late father’s influence wasn’t exactly positive, leaving deep-rooted trauma that threatens the business and their personal lives.

In the ring, the brothers’ rivalry is shown as one being the “heel” or bad guy (Jack Spade) and the other being a “face” or good guy (Ace Spade). They carry out scripted wrestling matches in the hope of bringing national attention to the wrestling league, while also providing a starting point for amateur wrestlers.

At the end of season one, Jack and Ace’s conflict comes to a head. The sibling rivalry, entertainment and drama will continue in season two, along with other issues that threaten Duffy Wrestling League, such as Charlie Gully, the Big Bad Fish Man and his Florida Wrestling Dystopia (FWD).

Final Thoughts

If you’re up for another dose of rivalry with the two brothers Ace and Jack Spade, you’ll be glad to know that the second season of TV series Heels is upon us. You can watch the trailer online for a glimpse of what’s to come, but the season starts on July 28 on Starz in the U.S., as well as on a couple of other services around the world.

If you’re not in a country where it’s available, a VPN like ExpressVPN can help you access it. With fantastic speeds and unblocking ability, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee, it’s your best bet to enjoy the show.

Once you’re done watching Heels season two, you can give Power Book IV: Force (which is also a Starz show) a try, or head over to our entertainment page for more movie and TV show guides. We recently published a guide on where to watch Killing It.
