Where to Watch Adventure Time
So, let’s talk a little more about regional restrictions — or geoblocks — so you understand what you’re up against.
Streaming platforms have to buy the rights to shows and movies for each region in which they want to show them. That means while one service might have the right to show something in the U.S., a different service might have that right in the U.K. To enforce this, services have to block viewers from outside the region from accessing it on their platform, and that’s what geoblocks do.
Trying to access a show or platform that’s not available in your region will result in an error message. However, there is a way to bypass the blocks — a virtual private network (VPN). We’ll show you how to use a VPN to bypass geoblocks further down.
Which Streaming Services Have Adventure Time
Thankfully, there are a few options for streaming ‘Adventure Time.’ In the U.S., you can watch all 10 seasons on Max (formerly HBO Max). That includes directly with Max or with the Max add-on that’s available with some streaming platforms, such as Hulu and Amazon Prime Video. It’s also available on Hulu in the U.S., even without the Max add-on.

You can also watch all 10 seasons on Fubo in Canada. The service is available in the U.S., Canada and Spain, but only the Canadian version has ‘Adventure Time,’ so you’ll need to use a Canadian VPN server if you’re not in the country.
The 10-season series is also on Binge and Foxtel Now in Australia, Canal+ in France, and Max in European and South American countries. Again, if you’re not in any of those countries, a VPN can help.
Full seasons and individual episodes are also available to purchase or rent on services like Apple TV, Fandango, Microsoft and Amazon Prime Video, though the service and availability will vary by country.
Is Adventure Time on Netflix?
Yes, ‘Adventure Time’ is not on Netflix. However, we only found the first four seasons on the service. We found seasons 1-4 in New Zealand, as well as European and South American countries, such as Austria, Germany, Chile and Brazil.
How to Unblock Netflix U.S. & Other Libraries
In case you didn’t know, Netflix’s content libraries can differ from one another. What you find in the U.S. Netflix library might not be available on Netflix Singapore, for instance.
That said, you can easily spoof your location with a VPN and access other Netflix libraries from around the world. If you’re in the U.S. and you want to see what’s available on Netflix Korea, you simply connect to a Korean server and log in to Netflix as usual.

The Best VPNs to Stream Adventure Time
If you can’t find ‘Adventure Time’ in your region, you can use a VPN to access it on any of the streaming services mentioned above. However, you need a VPN that’s capable of bypassing geoblocks and has fast enough speeds to stream smoothly. Here are our top recommendations.
1. NordVPN — Best Streaming VPN for Adventure Time

Very Fast
NordVPN is the best choice for streaming ‘Adventure Time.’ You can easily unblock any of the services we’ve mentioned, thanks to thousands of servers that are spread out over 110 countries. It also has some of the fastest speeds we’ve seen. Plus, it comes with an ad blocker to ensure an uninterrupted streaming experience.
NordVPN’s app will ensure you stay secure and includes a handy server map alongside the usual list. You can easily move the map around and click a location to connect to it, but it can be difficult to use this feature on small screens.
For viewers in regions with heavy internet restrictions, NordVPN has introduced NordWhisper, a protocol designed to bypass VPN blocks without revealing typical VPN traffic signatures, making it ideal for accessing streaming content in restrictive environments.
Pricewise, NordVPN offers an affordable two-year deal that is considerably cheaper than ExpressVPN (another premium VPN and our third pick) and a better option if you’re on a low budget. It also has a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can make sure you like it. Our NordVPN review goes into more detail.
2. Surfshark — Best Budget Adventure Time VPN

Very Fast

Very Fast

Very Fast
Surfshark is among the most affordable VPNs on our roster of the best VPNs, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t pack a punch. Like NordVPN, it can unblock pretty much anything you throw at it and offers blazing-fast download speeds to boot.
Our expert reviewers often lament that some of its most interesting features are exclusive to its more expensive plans and bundles, but if all you need is streaming, Surfshark’s cheapest subscription should be more than enough.
Speaking of which, Surfshark’s best deal is its two-year Starter plan, which costs a paltry $2.19 per month. That’s about as much as a cup of coffee each month, plus you can refund it within 30-days completely free of risk. Read our full Surfshark review for more details.

3. ExpressVPN — Best Beginner-Friendly VPN for Adventure Time

Very Fast

Very Fast

Very Fast
ExpressVPN is a truly impressive VPN. It is similar to NordVPN and Surfshark in many regards, and shares their greatest advantages when it comes to streaming. Namely, it also has great speeds (though not quite as fast as either of the other two), can unblock pretty much any website, and blocks ads as well. It’s even easier to use, as it only takes a single click to connect to a VPN server.
However, it’s also quite a bit more expensive, especially compared to Surfshark. Its best deal is on its yearly subscription plan, which costs $6.66 per month. Still, if you’re new to VPNs, you might find the price tag easier to swallow, as you won’t be inundated by extra features you will likely never use. Plus, there’s the same monthlong refund period to fall back on if you change your mind. Read our ExpressVPN review for more info.

Stream Adventure Time Specials: Distant Lands & Come Along With Me
The much-loved animated series came to an end on Cartoon Network in September 2018 with its four-part series finale, ‘Come Along With Me.’
The ending focused on the Gum War, a conflict between the Candy Kingdom’s Princess Bubblegum (PB) and her Uncle Gumbald from Gumbaldia. Gumbald became power hungry, wanting to create his own city where he would be in control and had no problem eliminating anyone who got in his way, including PB.
The war is eventually stopped, but the characters then have to face another creature that’s wreaking havoc. After everything calms back down, Finn and Jake reflect upon past events. We hear the show’s theme tune “Come Along With Me” and are treated to a montage to conclude each character’s storyline.
Fans were later treated to the four-part miniseries ‘Adventure Time: Distant Lands,’ which was gradually released between June 2020 and September 2021. Each special returns to the Land of Ooo but focuses on a specific character (or characters), including BMO, PB and Marceline, Peppermint Butler and, of course, Finn and Jake. ‘Distant Lands’ is available on the same streaming platforms as mentioned above for the original series.
Following ‘Distant Lands,’ fans can enjoy the spinoff series ‘Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake,’ which premiered on August 31, 2023, and follows the gender-swapped versions of Finn and Jake in an alternate universe.
Final Thoughts
‘Adventure Time’ was a true gem on Cartoon Network and was easily liked by the whole family — not just the kids. It’s a mixed bag of comedy, fantasy, magic and crazy. You can’t help but love Jake and Finn’s close relationship, Ice King and his little colony of penguins, and even feel a little emotional when you find out the past connection between him and Marcy the Vampire Queen.
Streaming ‘Adventure Time’ and the miniseries Distant Lands isn’t too difficult, since they’re available on a few services around the world. If you’re in a country that doesn’t have ‘Adventure Time,’ you can use a VPN to get access. NordVPN is the best VPN for the job and it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
