How & Where to Watch The Santa Clauses
If you're after some Christmas cheer and you want to watch Tim Allen in 'The Santa Clauses' series and movies, this guide shares how and where to watch 'The Santa Clauses' from wherever you are.
Tim Allen stars in Disney+ show ‘The Santa Clauses.’ It adds more Christmas cheer to the ‘Santa Clause’ franchise. Whether you’re new to the series or you want to rewatch it, this guide will show you how and where to watch ‘The Santa Clauses’ online from anywhere in the world.
‘The Santa Clauses’ series is set after the ‘The Santa Clause’ movies and sees Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) looking for a suitable replacement Santa.
Disney Plus is available in many countries now, but there are a few locations where it’s still unavailable, and some Disney Plus libraries have slightly different content. If you’re in a country where it’s not available, such as a restrictive country like China, you won’t be able to access Disney Plus. Likewise, if ‘The Santa Clauses’ has skipped your local Disney+ library, geoblocks will prevent you from watching it.
You can bypass such blocks by using a virtual private network (VPN). NordVPN is our top VPN recommendation and we’ll show you how to use it below.

How to Watch The Santa Clauses Miniseries on Christmas Eve
The first season, released in 2022, was briefly available on cable. Disney released the first two episodes on Freeform, ABC, FX and the Disney Channel after the series had concluded on Disney+ in December. This was to entice people to sign up for Disney Plus so they could watch the rest of the series.
Which Streaming Services Have The Santa Clauses?

Since ‘The Santa Clauses’ is owned and created by Disney, it’s understandable that Disney Plus is the only streaming service that you can watch it on. Both seasons of ‘The Santa Clauses’ are available on the service.
You can also watch all three ‘The Santa Clause’ movies, starring Tim Allen, on Disney Plus: ‘The Santa Clause’ (1994), ‘The Santa Clause 2’ (2002) and ‘The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause’ (2006).

Disney Plus is available in more than 150 countries in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Disney plans to grow its coverage, but if it’s not currently available in your location, you can use a VPN to access it.
While ‘The Santa Clauses’ series is not available to rent or buy on other services, you can rent or buy all three ‘The Santa Clause’ movies on services like Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, Apple TV, Vudu and YouTube.
Is The Santa Clauses on Netflix?
No, ‘The Santa Clauses’ is not available on Netflix because it is a Disney Plus exclusive. The same goes for the three ‘The Santa Clause’ movies, they’re all on Disney Plus.
Of course, if you already have a Netflix account, the platform has a ton of other movies available for the holiday season, but they might not be in your local library. For instance, ‘The Grinch’ (2018) is available on Netflix in the U.K. and Australia. ‘The Polar Express’ is available on Netflix Australia. Plus, ‘Christmas With the Kranks‘ (which also stars Tim Allen) is available on Disney+ in the U.S.
How to Unblock Netflix U.S. & Other Libraries
If you want to watch Christmas movies or other content on Netflix but it’s not available in your local library, you can easily get access with the help of a VPN. All you have to do is connect to a VPN server in the country where the show or movie is available and you’ll be able to watch it. The VPN connection makes you look like you’re physically in the country.

3. ExpressVPN — Easy to Use Streaming VPN

Very Fast

Very Fast

Very Fast
ExpressVPN is another provider that can do everything you need it to without fail. You can unblock Disney Plus easily — as well as other platforms like Netflix — and its speeds are fast enough to provide a smooth streaming experience.
On top of that, ExpressVPN has servers in more than 100 countries, providing you access to many Disney Plus locations, all while ensuring you stay protected with its strong security. Its apps are easy to use and available for most devices too.
The only downside is the price. It’s an expensive service, but worth considering. You’ll have to sign up for at least a year because there isn’t a monthly plan, but the 30-day money-back guarantee means you can test it out. You can also read our ExpressVPN review for more information.
Best Free VPN — PrivadoVPN

PrivadoVPN is our favorite free VPN. It’s easily capable of accessing most streaming services, including Disney+. The generous 10GB data limit should be enough to get you through both series of ‘The Santa Clauses,’ though you might want to turn your settings down to standard definition just in case.
PrivadoVPN is also rather easy to use, making it a good option for beginners. There are apps for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and smart TVs. Linux users are out of luck, but installation on other devices is quick and beginner-friendly.
If you want to go past the 10GB data limit without any bandwidth throttling, you’ll need to upgrade to the premium plan. We prefer other premium VPNs, but PrivadoVPN is very affordable and has a 30-day money-back guarantee, so we recommend testing it out. The Santa Clauses Cast, Characters & Plot (No Spoilers)
‘The Santa Clauses’ series is a follow-on from the three ‘The Santa Clause’ movies. It all begins with Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) after he accidentally played a part in Santa Claus falling off his roof on Christmas Eve. Scott is then recruited as a replacement for Santa, much to the delight of his son Charlie (Eric Lloyd).
Scott has the biggest job in the world, but he can’t be Santa forever, leading him to try and find a suitable replacement Santa. Charlie is all grown up with his own family, and Scott has two more kids, Cal and Sandra, but it doesn’t mean any of them are ready for a life under the Santa Clause.
Season two sees Scott still trying to find a successor, but he and his family are soon on a new adventure as they try to save Christmas from an ancient Santa who’s come back to reclaim the title.
The series not only sees Tim Allen reprise his role as Scott Calvin, but also Elizabeth Mitchell as Mrs. Claus. We also briefly see Scott’s now grown-up son Charlie played by Eric Lloyd and head Elf Bernard played by David Krumholtz. Here is the cast list for ‘The Santa Clauses.’

Final Thoughts
If you’re looking to stream a family-friendly show in the run-up to the holidays, ‘The Santa Clauses’ is definitely one to consider. It has all the Christmas charm of the original films and we get to follow the life of Scott Calvin and his family as his time as Santa comes to a close.
Disney Plus is the place to be for this series, and although that means you’ll need to pay, you can watch a ton of other great content there too, such as Star Wars, Disney-Pixar animations and much more. If you can access the service due to your location, a VPN can help. We suggest giving NordVPN a try. Skeptical? Put NordVPN to the test yourself — its 30-day money-back guarantee means you can try it without any financial commitment.
