ExpressVPN Finishes Major Expansion With VPN Servers in all 50 U.S. States
ExpressVPN now offers 62 VPN server options across the United States, including all states and Washington D.C., helping users bypass state-based and regional geoblocks.

The expansion will improve VPN performance and stability, as users can access more server options, allowing more consistent speeds and reliable connections.
It will also allow travelers outside their states to keep connected to local content, including regional news, websites and sports coverage. Conversely, if sports fans are frustrated by blackouts, they can now utilize ExpressVPN’s widespread coverage to access games and events beyond their regional blocks.
However, another reason for the expansion, according to the ExpressVPN’s website, includes the increasingly fragmented internet that varies depending on where you live.
“From data collection rules to content restrictions and verification, state policies are starting to shape what the internet looks like across the U.S. Some states are introducing laws that require age checks to access certain platforms. Others are proposing limits on the kind of content that can be shared and seen. Even access to basic services can vary depending on your IP address.”
At the end of June, the Supreme Court upheld a ruling in favor of Texas, after the state implemented age-verification laws for adult pornography sites, prompting PornHub to block access to the site within the state — now totaling 18 states blocked total.
